Internships & student research projects

Are you studying physics, laser technology, materials science, business administration or similar and would like to do an internship or are you looking for an interesting topic for your bachelor or master thesis?

Possible topics could be: Measurement and testing technology, optical coatings, production technology, business administration (marketing, human resources, finance, controlling) or quality management.

Here we meet

  • We regularly present ourselves at training fairs and similar events. You can find the current dates under News.
  • POG participates in the format College on Tour and we regularly invite to project days with exciting practical tasks.
  • POG is an exclusive partner in the Nachwuchsprogramm OptoNet MASTER+ program for young talents.
  • We are in close exchange with schools and teachers in Gera, Altenburg or Schmölln and are happy to open our doors for career orientation events.
  • We support the Otto-Lummer-Kolloquium in Gera, an event format to promote STEM education.
