We invite you for the first time to our new company building in Löbichau for the “Training Company Open Day” on March 29, 2019.
For the training year 2019/2020, POG has a total of six new apprenticeship positions to fill. Four precision opticians and two microtechnologists can start their skilled worker training in August 2019 to strengthen the team of 160 employees. Two young men and one woman have already signed their training contracts, and three more school leavers are still being sought and can get to know the company, for example on “Training Day”.
“We are looking forward to welcoming students from the Altenburger Land, the district of Greiz or Gera and have come up with a varied program,” says Jan Schubach, Managing Director of the company. “We not only show our new production areas and offices, but also explain where our products are used and what a working day is like at our company.” Current apprentices will be on hand to give first-hand accounts of what it’s all about and what interests and talents are in demand.
An apprenticeship at POG usually lasts 3 to 3.5 years and is remunerated with 1,000 EUR per month already in the first year of the apprenticeship. At the moment there are 18 future skilled workers in the company, who can look forward to a varied job in a modern environment with good pay, 30 vacation days, Christmas and vacation bonuses after being taken on.
The “Open Training Company Day” will take place on March 29, 2019 from 14:00-20:00 and will be held jointly with the companies Dietzel Hydraulik and Horsch. Registration is not required.
